Your role Whitehaven Coal offers varied experiences as new hires gain a comprehensive understanding of mine operations. The first year is spent in the field, working with various machinery across both the underground mine and open-cut sections of the business.
Training, development & rotations During your time in the Whitehaven Coal Graduate Program, you'll receive coaching and guidance from a senior leader while gaining practical skills and training from on-the-job learning?experiences and formal development sessions. The two-year rotational program will expose you to different sites and areas of the business, setting you up for success once you settle into your team after the Program.
