About the Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team in Brisbane, bolstering our national group of design leaders in the Defence sector. In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping critical projects nationally, bringing a dedication to design and delivery excellence. Your responsibilities will include:
Report to and be actively mentored by our Defence Sector Design Leaders delivering interior architecture design and documentation for Defence projects across a wide variety of building typologies including living, commercial, education, health, workshops and warehousing.Develop an intimate working knowledge and empathy for our Defence Sector clients, sufficient to support high quality environments to support occupant welfare and performance.Work in a collaborative environment to partner with internal project teams to understand and develop the design in response to stakeholder requirements.Partner with project leads to develop design intent and ensure the maintenance of design excellence.Contribute strongly to the delivery of technical design documents.Provide input to and undertake network development, knowledge management, operational improvement, and design review processes initiatives.About You We are excited to welcome someone with the following:
A Bachelor of Design in Interior Architecture or equivalent is essential.3+ years post-graduate interior architecture experience.Recent and demonstrated experience on Defence projects will be highly regarded.Design-focused, with a passion for supporting human performance and community outcomes in the Defence sector.Willingness to be mentored to achieve a high standard of technical outcomes.Exemplary design communication skills to convey design concepts through imagery and diagrams.Competent skills in Revit is required.Australian citizenship is highly desirable.Willingness to undertake a security clearance.Employee Benefits Architectus is proud to offer the following benefits to our team:
