As a result of Georgiou's significant growth, we are seeking a Graduate Contracts Administrator to join us and make a valuable contribution to our Infrastructure team. Working across multiple projects you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of projects ranging in value from $5m to $200m.
The successful candidate will have recently completed either a Law or Construction Management Degree. The role will call for you to assist the Contracts Manager and Contracts Administrators, to meet clients' expectations, contractual requirements and site targets across all project business functions including: plans, programs and processes, finances, risks, procurement and contracts.
You will be trusted to:
• Assist in producing accurate cost projections
• Assist in producing ongoing budget reports
• Assist in the management of sub-contractor agreements
What you're good at:
• You will be recently graduated from a Law or Construction Management Degree
• Candidates with previous and relevant work experience will be highly regarded
• Solid commercial acumen in understanding of Contract Law and principles of construction contracts
• Understanding (and experience) in legal/commercial qualifications/departures in negotiation of contract terms
• Experience in Procurement process including understanding program, evaluating packages and managing pre-contracts ahead of award
• Work well in team environment
• Excellent communication skills to assist in developing strong client and subcontractor relationships
• Proven negotiation experience in high value and complex commercial contracts
• Able to lead, motivate and influence others while being highly effective in organising and problem-solving
