The primary focus of the Graduate Consultant is to gain a thorough knowledge of FourPL's business and customers with the aim to becoming a "Billable" Consultant.
In this role, the incumbent is required to work at client sites, travelling between the FourPL offices to work with FourPL principals and other consultants and working with our solution partners.
We expect that your role will be dynamic in moving between consulting, project management and systems, provided this is clearly defined with the customer for each engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
0-3 Months
In the first three months a FourPL Graduate Consultant is expected to become involved in a wide variety of work experiences, these are as follows:
Gaining a thorough knowledge of the FourPL business
Gaining a thorough knowledge of the FourPL customers
Conudct Base training for Coupa
Develop skills and an understanding of supply chain and procurement solutions and processes
Go on site and shadow consultants to enhance your understanding of FourPL solutions and engagement model
Provide input and contribute ideas on new service lines e.g., supplier enablement, telematics, mobility, or other initiatives
3-6 Months
Ramp up billable capability through working at Clients on projects with FourPL consultants:
Go on site with FourPL consultants in all projects, progressing to active engagement with FourPL customers/projects
Be actively involved with Customer Go-Lives support FourPL consultants and customers
Complete relevant training/certification in a selected FourPL solution(s) especially Coupa
Develop your understanding, provide input and contribute ideas on new service lines e.g.
supplier enablement, telematics, mobility or other initiatives
Develop and enhance your understanding of standard business operating procedures
Develop your customer engagement and presentations skills
Develop and enhance your interpersonal skills (verbal and written) when engaging with clients and FourPL Consultants
Develop skills to enable effective team interaction and sharing of knowledge and ideas with team members
When the graduate is not engaged with a customer or working on internal capability, the graduate will assist FourPL Support Functions; this may include and is not limited to:
Support and assist the Marketing Manager with brand promotion, event management, industry events, website maintenance, development, and blogs
Support and assist the HR Manager with events, staff training, staff meetings
Support and assist Finance with ad-hoc duties
PRE-REQUISITES/QUALIFICATIONS
Appropriate tertiary qualifications or experience in Information Technology or related field.
