A position that's professionally rewarding | Commencing January 2025 Access to Mentoring, Coaching and Industry Expertise 2-year fixed term opportunity, requests for part-time hours considered.
About the Opportunity As part of the City Culture Program the Graduate Community Lifestyle will learn and develop on the job, and through their development program will make a tangible contribution to their team and CoA more broadly.
They will support and assist the Community Lifestyle and Community Wellbeing Teams in undertaking community development research, community and stakeholder engagement, data collection and analysis to inform reporting, benchmarking and policy and strategy development.
Some of the things you'll see yourself doing with us are: Assisting with the collection and analysis of data in our sport & recreation spaces, as well as park lands leasing and licensing data.
Supporting and assisting in community and stakeholder research, engagement and consultation.
Supporting the presentation of data to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Development : Approximately 40 hours of professional development over two years, including participation in the City Leaders program and a collaborative group project with other graduates.
Regular check-ins : You'll have regular 1:1 conversation with your leader to ensure ongoing support, goal setting, wellbeing checks and guidance.
Hone your skills: Opportunities to develop a broad range of transferable skills relevant to various government roles federal, state and local.
Networking opportunities: within the City Council and the broader government sector.
For more information about what it's like to work for the City of Adelaide, including the benefits, please visit www.cityofadelaide.com.au/careers About You To be successful in this role you will have: Graduated within approximately the last two years or are expecting to graduate within approximately the next 6 months, with a degree in Research, Data Analytics or related field.
Experience in data mining and modelling, with the ability to collect, translate and interpret data and produce engaging and insightful data visualisations.
Demonstrated ability to plan and operate efficiently under pressure to complete work.
Skilled in communication and being able to present effectively both orally and written.
Strong organisational skills, the ability to successfully manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines.
