About the job Van der Meer Consulting is a multi-disciplinary Structural and Civil engineering consultancy with offices in Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney.
This rapidly expanding company is currently seeking a suitably qualified Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Brisbane office.

Education and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering obtained from an Australian University, preferably from a Queensland University.
Between 1-3 years' civil engineering experience gained within the Australian market is preferred.
About the Role:
Join an experienced Civil team and draw experience while working on landmark projects Training and development as a newly graduated Engineer Prepare high-quality detailed design, drawings and estimates for allocated Civil Engineering project in accordance with relevant standards Provide support to colleagues during the completion of a project Design and modelling Maintain regular and timely communications with Civil Engineers, Civil Designers and Project Leader on issues or activities likely to influence the project, team or organisation.
Skills and Personal Attributes:
Sound knowledge and application of Australian Standard design codes, relevant design techniques, and construction procedures and techniques.
Be keen to learn new and innovative design techniques.
Computer-aided design and drafting using 12D and AutoCAD Basic knowledge ofMicrosoft Office software.
Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate and work with other engineers, architects and design managers.
