Job Summary: Trane in Queensland is hiring for a Graduate Sales Engineer to join our team.
In this role you will be responsible for developing long-term customer relationships and maximizing account penetration and customer retention by developing HVAC system related solutions.
Responsibilities: Work alongside other Sales Managers as part of a strong team.
Generate estimates and proposals for service work under the direction of the Sales Managers.
Prepare transition documents and communicate project readiness for assignment to operations team.
Work cohesively in a team as well as on your own.
Comfortable speaking to a wide audience, such as consultants and contractors equally.
Travel to customer job sites is required, which may include outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms.
During the site visits, the employee may be exposed to variable weather conditions; moving mechanical parts; heights, and other variable environmental conditions based on location.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum one (1) year experience in Account Management, Mechanical Contracting/HVAC or Facilities Management fields preferred.
Working knowledge of HVAC systems preferred.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
