Individual mentors and a structured learning program,Access to our Graduate e-learning portal with a variety of courses available at your fingertips,Graduate Membership with Engineers Australia,Access to external training, lunch and learns and conferences,Site visits and opportunities for site-based placements,Tools and technical training steered towards your professional development.About the role Reporting to the Senior Pipeline Corrosion Engineer, the purpose of the role is to safely and efficiently execute field services for Verbrec's Infrastructure Services operated pipelines as well as pipelines operated by external clients. These services include Cathodic Protection Surveys, DCVG surveys, CIPS, interference testing, CP Design, installation and commissioning, fault finding and risk mitigation. These services are performed:
To the highest level of safety, environment, community & stakeholder requirements,To meet agreed quality, operability, schedule and cost targets, andIn strict accordance with the relevant statutory & regulatory guidelines.About you To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
An Engineering degree (essential) in materials or chemical engineering.Willingness to work in remote parts of Australia.Willingness to work away from home for up to ten days.A high level of technical aptitude and willingness to develop on a diverse range of skills.Good communication skills, both written and oral.Sound computer skills, particularly the use of Microsoft Excel.A safety-first approach.The new Verbrec brand represents our evolution and continued growth by leveraging emerging techniques and technologies for the benefit of our clients.
