As a graduate you will work as part of the engineering team to learn and deliver several new automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives. The role is ideal for graduates with an interest in industrial automation.While we understand as a graduate you won't have much experience, we are looking for someone that is interested in learning a blend of electrical, mechanical and software proficiencies, with the goal of ensuring that all systems are designed to meet the highest standards of reliability and efficiency. A key focus will be on implementing new robotic and IIoT solutions to enhance productivity and reduce downtime, as well as improving current systems to optimise operations.Key ResponsibilitiesWhile this role is extensive, you will have the motivation to learn:Designing, developing and deploying automated solutions to streamline operational processes and improve system reliability.Developing and implementing strategies to create a culture that supports predictive maintenance to maximise up time and reduce cost.Adhering to business procedures to embed safety, quality and sustainability into the culture and ways of working.Keeping up to date with emerging technologies and safety regulations in industrial automation.Who we are looking for:The preferred candidate will have:Moderate proficiency in one or more programming languages.Experience in 3D modeling software - e.g. Fusion 360.Exposure to computer systems, databases and networking - e.g. SQL, Linux, git, SSH, bash, Ethernet, OSI model.Exposure to 2D CAD software.Solid understanding of electrical systems - e.g. three phase/AC power, power factor, VFDs, TN-C-S.Confidence in applying basic engineering concepts - e.g. fluid dynamics, stress/strain, control loops, thermodynamics, heat transfer.As well as the above, you will also have:An interest in fault-finding and diagnostic analysis.MS Office skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Strong written and verbal communication skills.A current WA Driver's Licence.Full working rights to work in Australia.What we can offerSalary range of $70,000 to $75,000 plus superannuation is on offer.
