WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

The Graduate Program combines hands-on consulting experience across both technical desk and field-based activities whilst also learning from experienced consultants often regarded as technical experts!
SLR has over 20 technical disciplines, formed into teams that are categorized by Service Lines: Advisory, Land & Water, Engineering, Environmental Specialist Services and Environmental Management, Planning Approvals.
Day to day you will find yourself contributing to the successful delivery of Air Quality projects. The work will include carrying out air quality projects involving site visits, ambient air quality monitoring, odour monitoring and survey and data management. In addition, opportunities will be available for upskilling yourself in other areas including preparation of emission inventories, dispersion modelling and reporting. Must have full QLD (or equivalent) driving licence and commitment to travel in remote areas as well as occasionally assisting some of our other technical disciplines including Noise and Vibration team when required – the life of a consultant is broad and rewarding. You will also find you aren't limited to the location where you are based and have opportunities to work on projects based all around APAC.
The successful candidate will have experience in air quality or be a graduate with an interest in air quality paired with a degree in environmental science or relevant field.
