Graduate Accountant

Sun Pharmaceuticals (Australia) is a stand-alone operation that supplies up to 25% of the global demand for opiate raw materials and active pharmaceutical ingredients to the global pharmaceutical industry.It has achieved market share leadership through quality, offering an extensive product range, customer responsiveness, high capacity and capability manufacturing and cropping operations coupled with innovations brought to the market through R&D.Sun Pharmaceutical's supply chain is focused at two sites in Australia and starts with agricultural operations in Tasmania that cultivate, harvest and process poppy crops, through to highly regulated extraction and value adding manufacturing operations in Victoria.We are seeking a suitably skilled and experienced person for a role in our finance team.Key DutiesParticipate in the preparation of monthly management accounts.Provide assistance with monthly ledger reconciliation.Provide assistance in the areas of creditors and debtors.Support purchasing process through SAP program.Actively contribute to the provision of timely, accurate reporting for both internal and external customers.Skills/Knowledge/AbilitiesBachelors Degree in Commerce, Business, Finance or Accounting is preferred.Experience with SAP or similar cost control management systems.Skills using Excel/Word.1-2 years in an accounting or financial support role.Independent worker able to take ownership of any given role.An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate.
