About the Role We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic Graduate Accountant, who would like to pursue a rewarding career within our Finance Team. Our busy team manages the payroll and accounts functions for several Companies, allowing you plenty of diversity in your role.
This full-time position represents an opportunity to gain experience in a collaborative, supportive environment where you will be focused on a range of duties including but not limited to:
Payroll processingAccounts payable and receivableReconciliationsForecasting and budgetingPreparation of monthly financial reportsOther payroll and accounts related duties as directed by the Accountant/CFOAbout You To be successful as a Graduate Accountant you will:
Have recently graduated with a qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or related disciplineBe committed to your professional developmentHave a demonstrated understanding of financial systems and financial reportingBe able to work autonomously and as part of a team, incorporating effective planning, time management and organisational skills to achieve quality outcomesPossess strong interpersonal and team skills and behaviours, incorporating verbal and written communication, flexibility, and resilienceBe able to demonstrate commitment to customer service, with a continuous improvement focusBe proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite including Word and ExcelHave a growth and learner mindsetHave full Australian working rights.If you believe that you have the qualifications, drive, and communication skills necessary to contribute effectively and thrive in the progressive environment at Searoad Ferries, then we would like to hear from you.
