You will be responsible for: Assisting in providing tax advice on Income Tax, CGT, GST, PAYG, FBT, and Payroll Tax. Participating in client meetings and supporting ongoing business mentoring. Preparing Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for Individuals, Companies, Trusts, and Partnerships under supervision. Assisting in the preparation and lodgement of BAS, IAS, and other tax-related returns. Liaising with government and taxation authorities such as the ATO and ASIC under guidance. Learning to use electronic workpapers for the preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns. About you: A completed degree in accounting or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in public practice, business services, or tax within Australia. Looking to or currently enrolled in or partially completed CA or CPA program. Familiarity with accounting software like Xero, and willingness to learn more.
