Our client is seeking a Graduate Accountant to work in collaboration with and under direction of the Director of Finance.
About the Role Assist with end of month including journals, reconciliations, accruals and prepayments Manage the preparation and reconciliation of all Business Activity Statements (BAS) and other statutory obligations.
Be responsible for conducting thorough bank reconciliations.
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register with accuracy and diligence.
Collaborate with the Finance Director to assist in the preparation of the budget, ensuring quality inputs.
Prepare ad-hoc operational reports to support decision-making.
Contribute to the development of strategies for process improvement initiatives.
Liaise with head office and site staff as needed on all finance-related matters.
Support the Director of Finance in both internal and external audits.

The successful candidate will ideally possess the following: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field or experience qualified; Have commenced or plan to commence CA/CPA qualification Be committed to the goals and ethos of Catholic Education Prior experience in a similar role for 2 years.
