Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is suited for a highly motivated, adaptable individual who is able to pivot in order to meet the changing requirements of the business. This role will also be required to provide assistance in other finance and accounting activities to support the greater Finance & Accounting Team.
You will be required to assist the Finance & Accounting Team with: Management accounts and supporting processesFinancial Statements and supporting processesAPRA, BAS & FBT ReturnsMaintain Asset RegisterASX, ASIC & FSR complianceSurveysStandard & Poor's schedules and reportsDeveloping & maintaining accounting and reporting processes using Accounting softwareMaintaining Corporate Governance policy and reportsAssisting the Chief Financial Officer & Senior Accountants, as requiredAbout You We are looking for someone who is motivated and excited to start a career in finance and management accounting, who is currently in their third year of tertiary education or has completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business.
As well as having exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact & communicate with all levels of staff within the Bank, a high attention to detail & accuracy as well as strong time management skills, you will also need to:
