We are continuing to expand our service offerings over the next few years, providing you with great opportunities to experience different aspects of auditing, accounting and financial reporting.
About the role Graduates usually commence on-the-job training in external and internal audit while studying for a professional qualification. This hands-on style of training gives you great experience from the word go. It can be hard work juggling the demands of the day job, studying and your social life but there are great career paths ahead. You will work in a team, which means there are always colleagues there to help and advise you, and you'll get time off for study. Although we do a significant portion of our work via remote auditing, there will still be requirements to travel to client premises at different times throughout the year.
You will have the chance to meet lots of interesting people and develop increasing commercial awareness. As you progress, you will be given more responsibility and be able to use your judgment and experience.
Our firm has a great career pathway as you progress, ensuring that staff are encouraged to develop and are given opportunities to be promoted to senior roles as they become capable, not just when positions open up.
Benefits and perks As a part of our Audit and Assurance teams, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals on a wide range of tasks. These roles are permanent and are designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to real-world accounting scenarios, helping you develop the skills needed to excel in your accounting career. Our graduates are working with our teams and are client-facing from day one, which helps accelerate your learning and development.
Our firm specializes in audit and assurance services, so we only generally see our clients in person at their premises. Therefore we offer a relaxed casual environment when working in the office. We also provide a generous Time in Lieu policy, which is based on actual hours worked and not tied to a budget. In addition, our staff are provided with additional allowances where they are required to travel.
We have also implemented a 9-Day working fortnight, which has been received with a massively positive response from our team. This structure provides all full-time staff with a fixed day off every fortnight between the months October-June.
We work well together and always finish together as a team. We encourage further studying and support our employees through the CAANZ or CPA program, and other further study options as appropriate.
Our firm operates on fully cloud-based software platforms with always up-to-date tech provided, allowing our team members the flexibility to work from anywhere when required.
