We're on the lookout for a skilled Grader Operator who's eager to join our dynamic team and take on exciting projects. If you have a knack for precision, a love for heavy equipment, and an eye for detail, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Be Doing: Maintain and operate the Grader in a safe manner and prepare roadway pavements to meet an acceptable standard for unsealed pavements, and for pavements requiring bitumen surfacing.Operate additional plant as required to ensure roadworks are completed according to established work schedules.Lead the construction team, ensuring tasks are performed to a quality standard, and work health and safety requirements are met.Communicate with members of the public, in accordance with Council's Code of Conduct, and refer any issues raised onto appropriate staff to ensure they are followed up and addressed.What You'll Need: Australian Drivers Licence – minimum HRInternal plant operation competencyAbility to interpret plans/Grader cardsConstruction Induction Card (White Card)Why Join Us? This is a full-time position classified at Grade F Entry under Council's current salary structure with a salary range based on qualifications and experience from $68,143.00 to $76,696.00 per annum, plus 11.5% statutory superannuation. Conditions are in accordance with Local Government (State) Award 2023.
