The successful applicant will join our rotation program, with areas of practice including acute medical services, acute surgical services, emergency care, inpatient sub-acute services, community outreach, and hand therapy.
This is a great opportunity to gain exposure in a variety of different clinical areas and to consolidate core occupational therapy practice skills.
You will be provided with regular professional supervision from a senior Occupational Therapist, coordinated continuing professional development opportunities, and a graded introduction to clinical caseload responsibilities within a supportive team environment.
Being available to work weekends, as part of a team roster, is essential.

We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent.Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, and implement realistic treatment and outcome goals for clients, appropriate to entry level or Grade 1 Occupational Therapist.Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills which promote service and client interests.Demonstrated knowledge and interest in hospital and community-based aged care and rehabilitation.Ability to work effectively within a team environment.Well-developed time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Understanding of and commitment to Quality Improvement.Commitment to ongoing professional development and ability to meet the AWH Wodonga Allied Health Credentialing and Professional Standards document.Employment Type: This is a fixed term, full-time opportunity.For further details, please refer to the Position Description or alternatively contact Patrick Hower at ****** for a confidential discussion.AWH serves as the largest regional healthcare provider between Sydney and Melbourne, situated in the border cities of Albury and Wodonga.
