Senior Social Worker – Grade 3
Surgical Division – Victorian Infectious Diseases Service (VIDS) Royal Melbourne Hospital Be part of the Victorian Infectious Diseases Service, in a team of social workers working in the surgical division. Your New Role: Provide exemplary social work service and leadership across but not limited to the surgical stream and VIDS. Provide compassionate and sensitive care to critical care consumers, including assessment, counselling, and support. Demonstrate your excellent communication strategies with patients, relatives, staff, and relevant services in order to provide appropriate services and information. Actively participate in Allied Health quality improvement initiatives and research. About You: You have demonstrated acute hospital experience with a collaborative working style. You have excellent communication skills and a passion for continued professional development for yourself and others. You are a qualified Social Worker, eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers with at least 7 years' experience.
