About the Role:
The Senior Clinician has a key leadership role in the provision, organisation, and development of Continence and Pelvic Health physiotherapy services at Broadmeadows Hospital and across Northern Health.
Through their clinical expertise, the Senior Clinician will ensure excellence in client care, promote quality, educate staff and students, and support team and program development.
The Senior Clinician will establish, maintain, and evaluate the Gastroenterology/Functional Gut Clinic at Northern Health, working alongside Dietetics and Psychology, and in close partnership with the Northern Health Gastroenterology team.
Part-time (0.21 EFT, 16 hours per fortnight), Permanent Ongoing Position.
To be successful in this role, you will need: A background with significant clinical experience resulting in a high level of skill in Continence and Pelvic Health physiotherapy Demonstrated experience managing patients with functional gut disorders Highly developed interpersonal skills Leadership skills and initiative in developing and promoting clinical care Sound clinical skills based on practice wisdom Ability to lead and promote evidence-based practice Practical negotiation and conflict resolution skills Leadership within a multidisciplinary team and promotion of interprofessional practice Experience in supervision of junior physiotherapy staff and/or Allied Health Assistants Experience in the management and education of undergraduate physiotherapy students Next Steps:
