Relocation Support: Intrastate (over 100kms) - up to $2,500Interstate - up to $5,000Overseas - up to $8,000Accommodation Support: Up to $350 per week up to 10 weeks; or10 weeks interim GVH Accommodation (if available)About the role: This role would suit an experienced speech pathologist with strong clinical skills within a hospital setting.
As a Grade 2 speech pathologist you will be responsible for providing high quality patient care in our admitted services (acute/sub-acute).
You will have skills in prioritising and managing your workload, clear decision-making and the ability to draw on and support your team.
This includes independently assessing, planning, recommending and implementing a wide range of speech pathology services to inpatients recovering from trauma, surgery, acute illness, neurological deficits and more.
We are looking for: Relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology AustraliaExperience in the management of adults with disorders of communication and swallowing within a hospital settingVideofluoroscopy competency highly regardedPaediatric dysphagia competency highly regardedIf qualifications are a requirement for this position, please attach a copy in support of your application.
