About BAROC: Ballarat Austin Radiation Oncology Centre (BAROC) is located within the Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC) and is operated by Austin Health.

Our facilities include: •    2 x Varian Trilogy Linear accelerators, with online image guidance, 6DoF robotic couch, Respiratory Gating, DIBH and VMAT treatment delivery.
•    Capital replacement in progress, with Varian Truebeam Linacs accompanised by the Vision RT Surface guidance platform and Brainlab stereoscopic imaging scheduled for installation in 2025.
•    Dedicated SABR treatment program.
•    Siemens definition AS 64 CT suite & Monaco planning system.
•    Electronic medical record (EMR) using ARIA 15 Oncology Information System.
•    Integration with a range of affiliated services including Medical Oncology, Clinical Trials, and a Wellness centre offering a broad range of support programs to promote our patient's health in mind, body and spirit.
•    Remote SXRT service based in Stawell, (Ballarat unit installed and being commissioned for clinical use).
•    Strong collaboration with our metropolitan site in Heidelberg, enabling cross-campus support, communication and knowledge sharing.

Your responsibilities will include: •    Exercise independent professional judgement in achieving optimal solutions for planning and treatment tasks, problem-solving and personal organisation (time management).
•    Demonstrate excellent teamwork abilities, working with the multidisciplinary team towards department goals.
•    Actively contribute to the development of new procedures, embrace new technology, and innovate to promote safe, efficient, and modern service delivery.
•    Demonstrate experience and understanding of the need for continuation of both personal and professional development that leads to the improvement of services and continuum of care for all clients.
•    Follow established radiation safety practices.
•    Current AHPRA radiation therapist registration and Victorian use licence.

•    Salary packaging options for up to $9009.96 each financial year + an additional $2649.98 for meals and entertainment.
•    Sign on bonuses available up to $10000.
•    Relocation support including furnished accommodation for up to 8 weeks.
•    Eligible new graduates to commence at Grade 1 Year 2 accelerating the pathway to Grade 2.
