The PositionThere is now an opportunity to join the successful sales team as a Sales Representative calling on General Practitioners and allied healthcare professionals.
This role will cover targeted customers across North East Victoria territory (Lilydale, The Hills, Hawthorn, Doncaster, Balwyn and Country: Albury/Wodonga).
Tasks & ResponsibilitiesExceed sales targets through unit growth and market share acquisitionComplete required number of educational functions within allocated budgetAchieve required standard of sales calls which includes working away from home depending on business needs.Plan and execute events such as dinner presentation meetings, medical centre luncheons, etc.Work effectively within the territory team, contributing to team successDevelop relationships with healthcare professionalsDevelop and maintain a high level of technical/professional knowledge and skill (including selling skills)RequirementsHigh energy and good achievement orientationTertiary qualifications (preferably in Science/Medicine/Pharmacy or Business)Respiratory, Diabetes experience highly desirable but not essentialMinimum 1-year Pharmaceutical Sales experience and/or territory management experience preferential not essentialField sales/territory management experience will be viewed desirablyGenuine interest to forge a career in the pharmaceutical industryWork well solo and as part of a teamHigh drive for results and self-motivatedStrong planning and organisational skillsResilience and perseveranceExcellent interpersonal skills and a clear communicatorAn aptitude for learning (including complex technical information, and execution of selling skills)Consistent demonstration of "winning spirit" behaviours that have contributed to team successGenuine desire for personal and career developmentWhat we offerBoehringer Ingelheim offers a competitive remuneration, attractive bonus scheme, health insurance, employee assistance program, development programs and career development opportunities.
