GP Position, South Australia, Up to 70% Mixed Billings, High earning potential! Our client is looking for a GP to join their well-established practice in South Australia.
The Role Up to 70% billings Mixed billings High earning potential Professional development fund available Position suitable for both Substantially and Partially comparable Drs The Practice The practice, established for over 20 years, consists of 12 consulting rooms and 1 treatment room. You would join a team of 7 GPs across their 2 practices, alongside a gastroenterologist, 3 practice nurses, 2 nurse practitioners, and admin staff. It is a teaching practice with regular registrars, interns, and students.
They also have visiting specialists including a cardiologist, rheumatologist, child psychiatrist, endocrinologist, and plastic surgeon. Pathology is onsite and a pharmacy is located next door.
This position is ideal for Drs with a special interest in Anaesthetics, Obstetrics, or Emergency Medicine, as the practice is keen to attract Drs looking to develop in these areas.
This position has become available due to the retirement of a long-standing doctor, providing the opportunity to take over an existing patient base.
All GPs are currently booked with a 4-6 week wait time for patients, so any incoming Dr can expect to be busy from day one.
There is an on-call requirement of 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend every 3-4 weeks.
The Location The practice is located in Crystal Brooks, 30km from the larger regional centre of Port Pirie and just over 2 hours from Adelaide. With nearby wine regions such as Clare and the start of the Flinders Ranges, there are plenty of recreational activities available.
