The Job

The practice is open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm and Saturday 8:30am to 12:30pm. All GPs across the practice work alternating Saturdays, and the practice is looking for a GP who is happy to contribute to this.
Here you will join a team of 8 GPs, 3 nurses, a Practice Manager, and support staff. The practice includes a 3-bed treatment room, a separate Immunisation / Health Assessment Room, and is co-located with a pharmacy and pathology.
The practice is also a teaching partner with the College of Medicine and Dentistry of James Cook University, making it a great opportunity for any GPs who have a special interest in teaching.
All GPs are currently fully booked with a few days wait time for patients, meaning that any incoming GP can expect to be fully booked from the start.
