Public Relations & Corporate Affairs (Marketing & Communications) Full time This is your chance to play an integral role in The Lottery Office (TLO), our rapidly growing brand that is on the upward trajectory. Located on the sunny Gold Coast, we are seeking a motivated, experienced Government Relations Manager to join our amazing team of passionate individuals.
As our Government Relations Manager, you will lead TLO's external engagement with government stakeholders across Australia and work directly with our Chief Executive Officer in our SME.
The preferred base for this role is our Robina office. Other remote locations may be considered for the right candidate with the required experience.
The successful candidate will be engaged as an employee of our company with leave entitlements.
About Us The Lottery Office is the online brand of Global Players Network Pty Ltd, an Australian owned and operated company who have been market leaders in the global lottery industry since 2003. We are proudly licensed by the Northern Territory Government, which ensures regulatory compliance and confidence with our growing consumer base.

The Lottery Office is the official Principal Partner with NRL's Gold Coast Titans from 2024 and we are proud to be continuing our association with them for many years ahead!

Find out more - www.lotteryoffice.com.au About the role This will be an exciting role working closely with our CEO as part of a small, friendly and supportive team.Lead TLO's external engagement with government stakeholders across Australia.Responsible for managing and executing a government relations strategy for TLO.Regular domestic travel will be required.About you A highly developed understanding of the Australian political environment.Minimum 4 years' previous experience in government relations and public policy.Previous experience in either a Ministerial or Shadow Ministerial office.Tertiary qualifications in Political Science, Public Policy, Law or another relevant field.Proactive government relations professional experienced in dealing with contested policy issues and conceiving and executing advocacy strategies.Excellent written and oral communications skills.Self-motivated, decisive and a team player.Comfortable working within the gaming industry.Highly regarded: Previous experience in a highly regulated, issues-rich industry.Previous experience dealing with Tier 1 media outlets.Why you need to work for us We are an exciting fast-growing, Australian owned and operated business.We are Official Gold Coast Titans Principal Partner with benefits, including but not limited to, access to free tickets to any home game played at CBUS stadium!We have our own Charity fund, where a portion of each individual sale is given back to Australian charity and Community groups to benefit those in need.Extensive monthly and yearly Recognition & Rewards program including birthday celebrations, quarterly lunches, team lunches, end of year party and much more!Modern, spacious, open-plan office conveniently located across from Robina train station with stunning views across the Gold Coast skyline, walking distance to Robina Town Centre.Please note: Applicants must not be subject to work limitations, must have the ability to work beyond six months, and be willing to complete a mandatory police check.
