With operations in grains and oilseeds in Australia, Canada, China, India, New Zealand, Singapore, UK, and Ukraine, GrainCorp is an accomplished and diverse business partner operating at scale in a vital industry.About the roleGrainCorp is currently seeking a Government Policy Advisor, based at our Barangaroo office, to help advance GrainCorp's public policy and advocacy efforts in areas critical to the success of the future of the grains industry, including renewable fuels, market access and regulation, infrastructure, and sustainable supply chains. The responsibilities of the role will include:Build policy positions in renewable energy, high-value and sustainable supply chains, market access, and infrastructure at a state and federal level.Work with internal subject matter experts to build strategic advice and positioning on relevant topics.Build and maintain relationships with government, industry groups, environmental groups, and grower communities, to share GrainCorp's subject matter expertise.Monitor and respond to public consultations, enquiries, and policy proposals related to GrainCorp's strategic objectives.Support the Head of Corporate Affairs and GrainCorp's teams in representing the organisation at external meetings, conferences, and industry events as required.About your experienceCandidates will have experience working with Government at both a state and federal level.
