This leading insurance and risk team within the QLD gov't are highly regarded for the outstanding delivery of legal services. What you will do
You will work on a range of diverse and challenging insurance law matters across personal injury, medical negligence, public liability and abuse claims. The majority of the work is litigation based; however, there will also be some advice work.
Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will be an insurance lawyer with at least 4+ years of PAE . Ideally, you will have a sound understanding and knowledge of the Uniform Civil Procedure Rules , the Personal Injuries Proceedings Act 2002 , the Civil Liability Act 2003 , and be familiar with the Rules of the Federal and High Courts.
In addition, you will have experience gained in the private practice environment; have strong technical and communication skills; be a team player and client focused.
