Join our team as a Governance Senior Officer, where you'll play a pivotal role in providing high-level professional support to college committees and managing student complaints and appeals processes.
This position involves administrative duties for various governance-related functions.
Your expertise will ensure that program and course lifecycle processes adhere to efficient and compliant governance standards.

To thrive in this position, you'll need to bring a diverse range of skills and experiences to the table:
Proven administrative experience, preferably within the tertiary education sector, with a track record in preparing minutes and reporting on critical issues.
A strong grasp of administrative procedures, encompassing committee operations and protocols, formal voting processes, program and course development approvals, and handling student complaints and appeals.
Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to engage effectively with individuals across all levels of the organisation.
Outstanding organisational and time management skills and the ability to efficiently handle, distribute, and file a substantial volume of committee-related documents, meeting tight deadlines.
A creative problem solver, able to develop and implement new procedures and guidelines that foster organisational efficiency.
Proficiency in various software packages, empowering you to work with ease and precision in our tech-driven environment.
A team player, showcasing your ability to collaborate and contribute positively to team efforts.

The Group's end-to-end professional support ensures a consistent approach to the operational and strategic functions of the College and adherence to University policies and procedures.
The STEM College Office professional staff are instrumental in providing students with a transformative and enriched learning experience, and in supporting our research and engagement administration activities.
Centralised in the STEM College Office, at our City and Bundoora campuses, professional staff members have opportunities to cross-skill, engage in professional development and develop their own career paths.
