The Purpose: The Governance & Planning analyst role is pivotal in championing the AP+ Technology governance framework, best practices in IT governance and compliance to ensure the ongoing integrity and security of AP+'s organisational IT infrastructure. The Governance Secretariat is tasked with ongoing review and improvement of the Technology governance framework to ensure its compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Primary Accountabilities, Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee and implement policies and procedures to maintain AP+'s Technology governance framework.Assess the existing Technology governance framework and identify areas for enhancement and optimization.Drive the adoption and compliance of governance practices throughout the Technology organisation.Develop standard operating procedures for Technology to ensure compliance with corporate governance.Ensure the organization's adherence to industry-specific compliance standards and regulations.Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on compliance performance and improvement initiatives.Assess Technology activities to ensure alignment with organisational goals.Facilitate Technology audits and assessments.Collaborate with Technology teams to define governance objectives and align them with business and Technology.Provide guidance and support on complying with internal and external policies.We'd love to hear from you if you have: 6+ years' experience working within an information or data governance function.Demonstrated knowledge of technology governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection.Practical experience in the definition and implementation of Technology policies and procedures.A good understanding of information management practices including information lifecycle management, data modelling, master data management and the conduct of business audits and requirements gathering.Understanding the concept of FinOps and contributing to the development of FinOps disciplines and processes; monitor and report on financial spend against budgets.What's Next:
