The Governance Officer supports the delivery of governance and performance reporting services and frameworks, including assisting in the monitoring and data collection involved in overseeing the department's strategic and operational plans; and the annual development of the Department of Health's Annual report.
The successful person You will have demonstrated:
Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a timely and effective manner.High level skills building successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders in a complex environment.Demonstrated ability and experience in identifying and analysing problems, developing and implementing remedial strategies and exercising initiative and responsibility.Demonstrated experience in preparing, monitoring and reporting on program/project budgets and understanding of the pressures and constraints impacting on delivery.A strong eye for detail to ensure accurate, precise, and reliable processes, data, and information are in place.About us The Department of Health is responsible for the overall management of the public health system in Queensland. The Corporate Services Division (CSD) provides a wide range of enabling and business support services to the department.
