As a Governance Consultant for Catholic Education Western Australia Limited (CEWA), you'll play a critical role in delivering and assuring best-practice governance, compliance and risk management throughout the CEWA system. Your responsibilities will include providing service and support to system and school leaders on a wide variety of governance matters, activating key frameworks across schools and offices and supporting the delivery of strategic projects through the CEWA system. If you are process and detail-oriented, adept at handling confidential information, and passionate about maintaining strong governance structures, we encourage you to apply!
This is a full-time ongoing position, commencing as soon as possible.
What we can offer you Salary range for this position is J1 to J4 on the CEO salary scale ($126, 228 to $141, 406 per annum) plus superannuation. 5 days additional paid leave when the office closed (over Christmas and Easter) Salary packaging in line with our not-for-profit status Free onsite parking Corporate healthcare discounts, and Employee assistance program. About you? Prepared to support to the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties. An undergraduate degree in a relevant field (such as education, business, marketing/communications, or law) is required. Having a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field would be advantageous. Functional knowledge of, and experience with, implementing frameworks for impact. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience influencing internal and external stakeholders, including board members, executive teams, senior leaders, and principals. Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated through effective and collaborative engagement with stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in working in complex environments, particularly the ability to appropriately plan, manage time, mitigate risk, manage stakeholders, and communicate effectively with decision-makers. Exemplified ability to thrive in intricate work settings, including effective planning, risk management, stakeholder communication, and decision-maker engagement. Demonstrated project management expertise, with experience managing projects end-to-end (on time and on budget). Knowledge of the governance and compliance requirements for non-government schools in Western Australia. Awareness of the governance arrangements for CEWA will be highly desirable.
