About the Role: As the PSP Governance and Policy Officer, you will ensure the PSP's highest governance standards and legislative compliance.
You'll lead key projects, update essential policies, manage carer authorisations, and support PSP meetings critically.
Your work will directly contribute to the safety, well-being, and care of children in out-of-home care, impacting communities across NSW.
Key Responsibilities: Drive policy development and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with the PSP Policy Reference Group.
Coordinate and act as the secretariat for the Carer Authorisation Panel, ensuring streamlined processes and compliance with NSW legislation.
Provide governance and administrative support to key PSP initiatives, ensuring accuracy in carer data and authorisation records.
Support the Carer Support Team in fostering and kinship carer authorisation processes, contributing to caring for vulnerable children.
About You: A bachelor's degree in social work, Community Services, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in governance, policy research, and project coordination.
Exceptional communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
A deep understanding of NSW legislation and compliance standards in out-of-home care.
