This is a 12-month max term position reporting directly to the Governance and Performance Manager.Key responsibilities will include: Monitor and maintain compliance with all Procurement Governance obligations, tracking and actioning activities to schedule.Coordinate with the Support of the Governance and Performance Manager, the production of Sunwater's Moder Slavery Statement in collaboration with Procurement, Legal and Risk representatives.Undertake reviews and assurance of operational compliance with Procurement Policy and Guidelines.Analyse current status of business processes and information environment and assist with planning the most cost effective, efficient, and secure business process and information system improvements to meet Sunwater's current and future business needs.Assist in further developing and progressing the Procurement maturity roadmap to deliver an executable plan which meets compliance obligations and is aligned to Procurement functional direction.About you You will be enthusiastic about process improvement and have a positive "can do" outlook with well-developed communication skills. An appreciation of leading and managing change along a functional maturity journey is also highly desired. Your primary focus will be on meeting all regulatory and reporting obligations and the role will also have the opportunity to influence meaningful functional changes for the Procurement function across Sunwater. You will have well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives. In addition, you will have: Qualifications in governance / assurance or related discipline.5+ years demonstrated experience in a governance and/or compliance related role or equivalent.Previous experience drafting policies and procedures.Previous experience influencing the delivery of organisational activities through advisory support.Experience with design, implementation and embedding of process and system change.We strongly encourage applications from candidates who are seeking flexibility in their work arrangements.
