Join ACMI as our Governance Advisor and play an instrumental role in the effective governance of ACMI. This is a full-time ongoing hybrid role, based in Naarm/Melbourne's Fed Square.

About the role
Reporting to the Head of Finance and Governance, this role provides assistance to management, Board Secretariat support, plus governance, procurement and compliance services. Supported by an experienced team, you'll work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders across ACMI and externally providing advice and services.
What you'll bring to the role
Practical experience working in a governance capacity with extensive Board experience.
Extensive experience in policy development and excellent understanding of legislative principles as they apply to key policies.
Demonstrated understanding of legislation governing public sector entities and experience in the application of governance principles across a public organisation.
Demonstrated knowledge of procurement practices and contract management principles.
A tertiary qualification in law, governance or related discipline is preferred.
