Randstad is currently partnered with a local Geelong Client seeking a Governance Administrator on a temporary assignment for 6 months.
Location - Geelong (Hybrid - 3 days in office & 2 days WFH)
Pay rate - $46/hr + super
Your new role This role involves providing efficient and confidential administrative support to the Governance branch, ensuring the effective and timely management of operational needs.
Key Responsibilities: Assist the Governance Manager in coordinating and preparing program materials, briefing papers, and reports, and taking minutes during relevant meetings.Aid in the development of Governance Policies and related documents, coordinating their review, consultation, and endorsement. Manage the Document Control Register and oversee associated governance activities.Develop and manage tracking actions for governance compliance reporting.Provide high-level administrative support to the Governance Manager, including daily correspondence, meeting management, and general administration.Maintain and develop recording and filing systems to monitor and control documents and information for branch leadership.Manage the Governance Manager's calendar and collaborate with key stakeholders to support Governance Programs by scheduling and coordinating appointments and meetings, prioritizing tasks, and promptly notifying of any changes or additions.Organize branch workshops and functions, including catering, venue setup, and equipment coordination, as well as travel and accommodation bookings when necessary.Exhibit enthusiasm and initiative with a strong drive for achievement and self-direction, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure effective systems and processes.Contribute positively to team cohesion, productivity, and culture, including assisting in the onboarding of new staff.Build and maintain constructive working relationships with Executive Assistants, Personal Assistants, and administrative support staff within the organization.What you'll need to succeed Relevant industry-recognized qualifications or equivalent work experience in a support role.Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, exercise initiative, set priorities, and adhere to timelines.Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.Proficiency in editing and proofreading.Please note, to be considered for this role, you MUST: Full working rights within AustraliaBased in Victoria, preferably in or near GeelongPublic Sector or NFP experience is desirableWhat you'll get in return Through Randstad, this role offers you an hourly rate of $46 per hour + super, an opportunity to progress your career within Government and:
