Goulburn-Murray Water | Finance Business Analyst

GMW is seeking someone with relevant water industry experience to join our team for the next two years.
The River Operations Project Officer will play a key role in the management of regulated surface water resources within the Goulburn and Murray regions.

Reporting to the Management Accounting Manager, this role is responsible for the financial support of each business area in the future forecasting of key activities including maintenance, capital planning, and key operating cost drivers.

Additionally, this role involves preparation of all monthly financial reports for GMW, including review and variance analysis, external reporting to DTF/DEECA including SRIMS, and providing financial analysis and accounting advice to all stakeholders across the business.

Based in Tatura, you will join the Project Services team.
This role offers variety through working on Australia's largest irrigation delivery network and on the 23 water storages that GMW operates and maintains throughout northern Victoria.

Working in a team environment, you'll provide maintenance plant operation, labouring, and record keeping using GMW's Maximo system.

This role is part of the Infrastructure Delivery Services (IDS) Field Services team and provides civil maintenance services across the western GMW irrigation areas (Pyramid Hill/Kerang/Swan Hill districts) to maintain and renew the varied asset portfolio of irrigation and drainage infrastructure, including pipelines.
