Your Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the Property Management department, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. Monitor key metrics such as vacancy rates, arrears, and maintenance issues, and implement strategies to improve performance. Ensure all properties are compliant with NSW regulations and industry standards. Lead regular team meetings to set goals, address challenges, and share updates on portfolio performance. Drive recruitment, onboarding, and team growth. Mentor and provide guidance to team members, helping them achieve their full potential. Manage and improve key performance indicators and team outcomes. Stay ahead of industry trends and adopt best practices to improve team efficiency and service quality. Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, investors, and other key stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships. Oversee trust accounting, invoicing, and other financial tasks related to the portfolio. Attend tribunals and represent the agency in property-related disputes. Make strategic decisions that impact the long-term success of the business and portfolio. What We're Looking for in You: Proven experience in property management, with a focus on business development and portfolio growth. A current NSW real estate licence. Strong understanding of property management principles, landlord-tenant laws, and industry regulations. Trust accounting experience and financial management skills. Outstanding people skills with a natural ability to motivate and inspire a team. A proactive leader with the ability to develop and implement systems and processes for team success. Excellent conflict resolution skills and a high standard of customer service. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Strong digital literacy and experience with property management software platforms.
