About the Role
As a Building Manager, you'll oversee the maintenance and management of residential properties, ensuring compliance, safety, and exceptional property standards. From supervising contractors to addressing maintenance concerns, you'll play a key role in upholding the organization's commitment to quality housing.
Key Responsibilities Supervision & Maintenance: Oversee contractors and maintenance teams to ensure the building and common areas are kept in excellent condition. Compliance & Safety: Monitor by-law observance, fire safety regulations, and ensure security systems are operational. Property Operations: Manage routine inspections, repairs, and coordinate professional cleaning, pool/spa maintenance, and gardening services. Emergency Response: Coordinate and supervise immediate actions in emergencies to ensure resident safety. Resident Support: Maintain open communication with residents to address concerns while ensuring a harmonious living environment. About You Experience in building or facilities management, ideally in social or community housing. Strong understanding of maintenance, compliance, and safety standards.
