ABOUT THE ROLE: Goodline is currently seeking an experienced and qualified HSE Divisional Manager to join our corporate team located on the Sunshine Coast. This position provides strategic guidance for risk management including health, safety and environmental management across the business. The HSE Divisional Manager will ensure the effective development, implementation and monitoring of processes, systems, initiatives and controls for the identification and management of operational risk. This includes but is not limited to health, safety and environment, training and quality oversight. The successful candidate will help to influence a sustainable culture and adopting a risk-based approach that embraces the various client-based programs encountered throughout the country. You will guide the business on a strategic path based on the principles of zero harm and our own HIFOCUS values under the HSEQ General Manager. This role will require travel to our divisional and project sites around Australia on a regular basis.
QUALIFICATIONS: Degree qualified in relevant science discipline or occupational health and safety (Mandatory) Construction Induction Card (Mandatory) Driver's license (Mandatory) BHP, FMG, RTAW, RTIO, RTAG Inductions (Advantage) ABOUT YOU: At least five years' experience as a HSE leader in the mining construction industry. Ability to lead the HSE function of the business in divisional based operations. Ability to travel as required to the needs of the business. Team player with outstanding communication and leadership skills who is passionate about all aspects of safety leadership. Extensive experience in driving improvement through HSE performance and sustainability position. Enthusiasm and professionalism to your team while influencing strategic objectives for all of Goodline. Capability to handle complex situations in a high-risk industrial work environment. Embracing a proactive and fast-paced safety culture, you must be willing to demonstrate all our standards through your behaviour and response to challenges (lead by example).
