About the OpportunityAre you passionate about golf, great customer service and retail management? We are looking for a dedicated Golf Shop Supervisor to join our golf team and oversee the daily operations of our golf shop.
This could be just the right role for you?Reporting to the Golf Operations Manager, you will lead a professional team to deliver exceptional customer service to our guests. Your key responsibilities for the role include:
Assist guests with exceptional customer service, purchasing retail products, golf bookings, recording members handicaps, hire equipment and inquiriesMaintain a sound knowledge of golf rules, golf course operations, handicapping & industry trendsManage the team roster, lead, supervise and train staff, fostering a positive and productive team environmentManage and organise retail stock, ordering, receiving, displays and suppliers to maximise salesMonitor and report sales and identify opportunities for growthMaintain a clean, presentable and safe work environmentDrive golf carts on propertyWhat you'll need to be successfulAvailability and flexibility to work a 7 day rotating roster between 5am-7pm, including weekends & public holidaysPrevious experience and knowledge in golf retail store, course operations, rules and etiquettePrevious supervisory experience and strong leadership skills to motivate, manage a team & encourage teamworkProficient in MiClub, POS, EFTPOS and Microsoft Office applicationsStrong customer service, communication & interpersonal skillsBuild positive workplace relationships and demonstrate effective time managementPassion and knowledge of golf, equipment, apparel and trendsValid Qld Drivers LicenceResponsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) CertificateExcellent personal presentationWe are OfferingCompetitive salary + penalties on weekends & public holidaysGenerous employee benefits & discounts on RACV products & resortsEmployee of the month awards & recognitionTraining and career development opportunitiesUniformParking onsiteThe RACV differenceBe part of a team who cares.
