Gruyere Gold Mine A Gold Fields and Gold Road Resources Joint Venture (50/50) located in the Yamarna Greenstone Belt in Western Australia.
This newly constructed mine site boasts a plant production of 300,000+ ounces per annum with an enviable production profile in excess of 10 years, making it one of Australia's largest and lowest cost gold mining operations.
Role Details Reporting to the Supervisor: Plant Services, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Site Services Team on a day-to-day basis to achieve budgeted production, availability, and compliance on all site facilities and associated infrastructure to meet current and anticipated demand.

This role is offered on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth.

Employee Assistance Program About the role Key responsibilities include:
Comply with OHS & environmental standards & requirements; Evaluate associated risks & hazards of each task prior to the commencement to ensure a safe working environment; Manage the day-to-day activities for the site services team inclusive of contractors ensuring awareness of the tasks, targets, and access to the necessary tools; Ensure the team are applying effective preventative maintenance practices through scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting, and timely repair of equipment; Assist with training, development, and coaching of the team to improve individual capability and enhance employee engagement, productivity, and job satisfaction; Improve performance and growth by actively contributing to business & cultural improvement initiatives, encouraging team members to participate & identify barriers; Provide support services with bore field's management, wastewater treatment, and communications facilities; Assist with determining proactive maintenance plans and shutdown programs in disciplined areas of responsibility; Report all safety hazards, environmental hazards, incidents, damage, breakdowns, and potential plant or equipment stoppages to a direct Supervisor or area Supervisor as soon as is practicable including those not directly related to your specific areas of responsibility.
About you Qualifications and experience required:
Australian recognised Trade Qualification Prior experience in operation and maintenance of a mineral processing plant, bore field maintenance &/or water treatment plants and diesel pumps/generators Manual HR Drivers Licence Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Programs Previous leadership experience (desirable) Applications can be submitted via:
