The Opportunity Play a supporting role to the Deputy Project Manager in the delivery of maritime projects within the Department of Defence. Your role will involve:
Preparing and tracking budget, spend, forecast, financial phasings, contract invoicing and payments and other financial reporting in accordance with approved Procurement Management Plans in Defence financial systems (e.g. Objective and TEAMS). Provide project and program document management including preparation and curation of project status reports, risk and issue register, briefs, and other related documents. Support management of communications with Industry throughout Approach to Market activities and other general industry engagement opportunities. Support conduct of, and/or coordinate, key project governance meetings. This includes tasks such as meeting bookings, calendar invitations, deconflicting timings, and capture of meeting minutes. Contribute to strategic planning, program and project management or policy development for the project, providing advice on innovation and business improvement. Support the preparation and drafting of briefs, complex correspondence, reports and submissions for board/committee consideration on project status in accordance with organisational requirements, including monthly Project Performance Review Information Platform (PPRIP) reporting and Gate Review documentation. About you Experience in a similar project support role within the CASG / Defence complex project environment is essential. Strong stakeholder management, written and verbal communication skills, planning and organisation skills and time management is a must for this role. Hold an existing NV1 Security Clearance. Demonstrated experience in financial management, procurement support and reporting. Experienced in the review of solicitation documentation and supporting information (i.e. statements of work, statements of requirement, data item descriptions). Experience supporting evaluation of industry responses to approaches to market related to area of expertise.
