An exceptional opportunity has become available for an experienced GM Finance / Group Financial Controller to lead the Accounting & Finance department in a leading ASX company, based in Melbourne.

Description Reporting to the CFO, this role will be responsible for:
Leading and managing the Accounting & Finance departmentDeveloping and implementing financial strategies and policiesEnsuring compliance with financial regulations and directing corporate tax complianceOverseeing the cash management and corporate treasury functionsPreparing and presenting financial reports to the board and stakeholdersLiaising with external auditors and management of auditsStrengthening and maintaining internal financial controlsSupporting business growth with strategic financial guidanceProfile CA/CPA qualified, you will have worked in a large corporate, ideally listed, with experience across external audit and/or tax. You will have proven leadership experience in a similar role and a strong knowledge of financial standards and regulatory bodies. Those who have been part of a finance transformation and/or system upgrades will also be highly regarded.
