We will achieve this by ensuring we always provide safe and supportive environments for our people to learn, develop and flourish.Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is seeking a General Manager - Acute and Bed Based Mental Health, a passionate leader who is committed to providing excellence in Acute and Mental Health Care, with the aim of improving outcomes for community members utilising our inpatient mental health services.In this key leadership role, you will have the opportunity to provide strategic & operational leadership and management of the Acute and Bed Based Program at LRH which includes;Psychiatric Emergency Care Team (PECT)Macalister Aged Care UnitElectroconvulsive TherapyPrevention and Recovery Care Service (PARCS)Community Residential Care Unit (CRCU)Agnes Parent and Infant UnitSecure Extended Care Unit (SECU)Mental Health and AOD Hub and Youth PARCS UnitsAbout youProven experience in senior management and the provision of high-level leadership with the ability to develop team performance and coach/mentor senior health professionalsExperience managing teams, budgets, performance development and working to achieve Key Performance IndicatorsExperience in successfully managing multiple stakeholders at all levels and forging effective partnerships across all areas of the health sectorUnderstanding of best clinical practice and future trends in healthcare delivery and demographicsCurrent practicing registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist, or a Social Work degree with eligibility for membership of the AASWThis is an exciting opportunity to build and advance your career.
