Telecommunications TechnicianGlobal Vision Recruitment is seeking a skilled and motivated Telecommunications Technician to join our team.
About the Role:Determine optimal placement and connections for telecommunications equipment by reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and work area layouts.Install and configure telecommunications systems, including telephone lines, data networks, radio communication systems, and TV transmission equipment.Set up telecommunications appliances such as phones, switchboards, and data transmission units.Troubleshoot system malfunctions, identify defective components, and carry out repairs, replacements, or adjustments to restore service.Requirements:Relevant qualifications in telecommunications or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).A minimum of 2 years of experience in a telecommunications technician role with hands-on experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of telecommunications systems.Key Skills:Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems, including voice, data, and video transmission technologies.Ability to use diagnostic instruments to troubleshoot and repair equipment.Practical experience with installing and maintaining telecommunications equipment and infrastructure.Salary: $74,000 plus 11.5% super
