Key ResponsibilitiesStudy and interpret drawings and specifications for various marine structuresSource and select high-quality timbers and materialsPrepare layouts based on project requirementsUtilize carpentry skills to cut, assemble, and fasten materials with precisionConstruct, repair, and install custom-made pontoons, ramps, sea-steps, slipways, and jettiesCollaborate with the project team to bring concept designs to lifeConstruct concrete formwork when requiredQualificationsCertificate III in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalentRequirementsProficient in interpreting marine-specific drawings, blueprints, and specificationsStrong woodworking skills with the ability to work with diverse materialsAdvanced knowledge of marine construction techniques (preferable)Excellent teamwork and communication skills
