This role can be based either in the London or Sydney.
Requirements About the Role As a Global Technical Sourcer at Simple Machines, you will partner closely with Recruiters and hiring managers to identify, engage, and activate high-caliber talent.
You'll leverage your expertise in sourcing to develop and execute creative strategies for building a pipeline of industry leaders across Software Engineers, Data Engineers, Product and Delivery Managers.
This role emphasizes proactive engagement, diversity-focused sourcing, and close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure we attract the best in the industry. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Recruiters and hiring managers to understand the specific requirements for technical and delivery roles and how they align with organizational goals. Develop innovative and effective sourcing strategies, including tactical research, referral generation, events, and sourcing campaigns. Identify and engage passive candidates through Boolean searches, LinkedIn, niche job boards, and other sourcing tools. Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess basic qualifications and alignments. Track and analyse pipeline metrics, sharing insights with internal stakeholders to inform hiring strategies. Build and maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, target companies, and technical skill sets to identify key talent pools. Drive diversity-focused sourcing strategies to ensure inclusive candidate pipelines. Continuously recommend and implement process improvements to enhance sourcing effectiveness. About You 3+ years of experience as a Sourcer within the technology (Data/Software) sector. Proven ability to develop and execute candidate generation strategies for technical roles including software engineering, data engineering, and consulting roles. Strong experience in sourcing passive candidates using Boolean, LinkedIn, and alternative search techniques Background in crafting engaging messaging to attract high-performing passive talent. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with hiring managers to align talent strategies with business needs. Familiarity with tracking and reporting pipeline activity using an ATS Strong understanding of the tech landscape, including open-source communities and industry events.
