Let's talk about the team and the role The Global Operations Analytics (Distribution) group is a dynamic team dedicated to discovering insights and delivering exciting data solutions in support of ResMed's Operations business. We are experimenting and establishing best practice for analytics delivery, participatory data governance and application of new tools and methods to business data. Along the way we're having fun creating and supporting innovative analytics methodologies and dashboarding solutions.
Our team is distributed across multiple regions (AMER, EMEA, APAC) and we make the effort to stay closely connected and collaborate effectively, while providing a flexible and supportive work environment. The role of a Global Operations Data Analyst is to identify and build analytics solutions that create business value, in line with the larger priorities of the business. You'll be untangling and understanding business problems then applying a broad knowledge of best practice analytical methods and tools to deliver outcomes.
We're looking for a candidate who balances skills, curiosity, and a passion for using data to deliver impactful results. Success in this role is all about converting data opportunities into value in partnership with Product Owners and business stakeholders. A great Operations Data Analyst cares first and foremost about achieving outcomes that contribute to ResMed changing lives with every breath.
Let's talk about responsibilities Conduct effective and efficient data preparation, transformation and visualisationMaintain an understanding of the data architecture around the department and relationships between various sources of dataProactively engage with the business function to understand, prioritise and communicate analytics needs that will lead to improved business outcomesUse analytical skills and statistical methods to identify insights and communicate information on time critical issues to the appropriate stakeholdersActively participate in data governance, architecture, integration and change management alongside business stakeholders and domain expertsBe a resource for various business groups, assisting with on-going and ad-hoc requests for information and insights, evolving understanding of where analytics can add valuePresent information effectively to all parts of ResMed up to Executive levelDocument all activities and generate appropriate reports for internal and external useLet's talk about Qualifications and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in data science, business, information systems, engineering, computer science or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience working in a complex business environmentExposure to data principles, data transformation, data warehousing and data visualisation toolsExperience working with data analysis and visualisation tools such as Tableau, Qlik Sense, R, PythonFundamental SQL query and data management experiencePreferred: Existing domain knowledge of supply chain, operations, and/or distribution processesExperience in different phases of the data project lifecycle from strategy and advisory, scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, training and deploymentExperience in a Quality Assured or Regulated environmentMedical device experience, particularly with flow generator, oxygen or ventilator productsJoining us is more than saying "yes" to making the world a healthier place.
