You will work as part of the Deloitte Global Employer Services (GES) team to support and advise some of Australia's and the world's largest and most innovative companies.
In this role, you will Provide advice to international assignees about the Australian tax implications of their assignmentsprepare Australian tax returns and Australian tax calculationssupport and advise corporate clients with tax and policy issues arising from their global mobility programs including employment tax advisoryDealing with revenue authorities such as the ATOAssist in the delivery of successful mobility program engagements and projectsDeloitte GES will provide continual on-the-job and formal technical training as well as a mixture of clients to work with, giving you exposure to a broad range of issues and opportunities to build client relationships.
You will be part of a wider client service team, working together with our global network of mobility tax specialists to provide holistic solutions to your clients.

Combining tax research and data analytics, we give advice on global compensation, visa and work permits, employment taxes, personal tax compliance and policy design for many of the world's largest companies and their employees.

You are someone with : Experience in a previous Australian tax role in expatriate tax (preferred), personal income tax or employment taxExcellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, as you will be working directly with individual clients, corporate clients and tax revenue authorities (e.g. ATO)Strong verbal and written English communication skillsAbility to manage and prioritise tasks across numerous multinational and individual clients including meeting KPIsWorking knowledge on Australian tax technical issues covering mobility tax, including tax residency, double tax agreements, capital gains tax, employee share schemes and Australian employment tax issuesAn eagerness and commitment to expand your focus and skillset to become a broader advisory professional across all areas of global mobility to better support your clientsSolid research and analytical skillsA degree in accounting, commerce or law is preferred.Why Deloitte?
